Evangelism

In the Great Commission, Jesus sent out his disciples. “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 ESV).

We believe that we are still called to do that as disciples of Jesus Christ. This includes preaching the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is his substitutionary death for our sins on the cross and his resurrection on the third day. It also means discipling new believers by teaching them godly doctrine. We do this by organizing crusades, conferences and open air services, as well as outreach trips to reach many people who will not set foot into a church or have no access to the word of God whatsoever.

We also think that we as disciples are still called to “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons.” (Matthew 10:8 ESV). This is why healing and deliverance is an important part of our mission and can be combined very well with Evangelism. Many people can get healed the very day they receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. For deeper healing issues we offer counseling sessions and one on one prayer.

Jesus came to preach the gospel to the poor and set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We as his disciples partner with that assignment.
